The Story
Coastal Souls Counseling came from a wave of passion for healing and empowerment. With over a decade of experience in substance use and trauma therapy, Courtney envisioned a nurturing space where both teens and adults could find freedom from their burdens. Here, clients are supported in their journey to wellness at the mind, heart, and soul levels, fostering growth and resilience in a compassionate and safe environment.
Services
Individual Counseling
This is for the person wanting individualized care to address the things they are bringing to the therapy space. It will be one-on-one with you and your therapist virtually on a video call (currently telehealth only).
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
ART therapy is designed to help you keep the memory and lose the pain from a single traumatic event or a traumatic theme that has repeated itself. It is an opportunity for the person with the heavy emotions to be able to experience relief from the distress without talking about the trauma details.
Family Sessions
This session is designed for a parent-child duo or to include multiple parents or siblings. This may also include couples (married, dating, or cohabitating). The session will be via video call with the therapist and all parties (currently telehealth only).
Faith-Based Counseling
This is optional with Courtney (the owner and therapist) to either be included in other types of sessions or the availability of Bible-based therapy where Scripture will be utilized throughout the session. Each session will also begin and end with prayer. Faith-based counseling will only be included if requested by client.
